I am Joey Chen.  I am from Singapore.  I am a film cameraman and also a photographer trained in the US.  I began taking notes and writing short stories when I was serving the Lord as a christian missioanary in China, Hong Kong and Thailand way back in 1986.  My home base is Japan.  I set foot here in 1977 when I was on the way to the US to study filmmaking.  Recently I have been converting these ideas and short subjects into novels and screenplays and hoping to connect with people who might be interested to partner with me to turn them into films and documentaries.  I don't believe in a one-man show.  On the other hand, I also believe that out there are some people who might have similar crazy ideas like mine who are seeking joint-production opportunities.  If you have such ideas, resources, expertise or whatever, we might be able to turn the experience into a successful venture.
